The traditional models of the Pattadese knife are three: the corrina fixed blade, the folding corrina and the most famous resolza.
The corrina, ancient shepherd’s knife, was the first knife in the history of Pattaglia to stand out since 1700 for its characteristic myrtle leaf blade. The fixed blade Corrinas are still appreciated for their versatility in the culinary field: in fact, they have been reinterpreted and adapted as a steak knife and as an exclusive table set.

Initially conceived as a fixed-blade knife, is in the first half of the 1800s that the first folding knives were made, marking a turning point in terms of functionality and practicality in transportation. In the Giagu workshop, the attention to tradition has brought back the first folding knife in the history of Pattada, which had been supplanted by the resolza. This model, characterized by its simplicity and elegance, is made today in numbered production.
The Resolza of Pattada derives directly from these ancient models that in the second half of the nineteenth century were modified keeping the typical myrtle leaf blade and the handle mechanism, with the addition of the ornamental bolster between handle and blade.
