There are knives that do not belong in the usual categories — neither folding, nor fixed blade in the sense of pocket or kitchen knife. They are ceremonial pieces, collector daggers, ritual objects. In the Giagu maison they live in this section.

The Sa Promissa is the knife of Sardinian nuptials — literally, in Sardinian, "the promise": a dagger that the future groom receives as a gift from the bride's family on the day of engagement. The Cigar Cutter is the piece of the cigar ceremony — short blade, handle in ebony and Sardinian gold. The Leppa e Chintu is the ceremonial version of the traditional Pattadese leppa, sixty centimetres of blade intended for display. The Tea Knife is the smallest piece of the maison, a ceremonial utensil for afternoon tea.

These are pieces commissioned for precise occasions. Eight-to-fourteen-month timelines, paper certificate, progressive numbering, ten-year warranty.
