The Mediterranean scrubland holds, in Sardinia too, an endless variety of plants and trees, each with its own distinctive leaf. This patent, Foglia, was born precisely as a homage to the nature of our land.
A folder with a 9 cm blade, in which the drawing of the leaf becomes the very profile of blade and handle. The materials are chosen with the same care: tones and shades of horn or wood are selected to echo the colours of our island.

About this piece
How is a Giagu Foglia commissioned?
Every Foglia begins with a conversation. You write to the Giagu workshop describing the materials, the dimensions and the occasion, and the maison guides you through the configurations available. Lead time is six to twelve months from confirmation. Every finished piece comes with a paper certificate signed by the family.
Is the Foglia a numbered piece?
Every Giagu Foglia is engraved with the mouflon mark and the words GIAGU PATTADA. Each order carries its own number, identifying it in the maison's internal archive from 1985 onward. The mark, for its part, stays with the piece forever.
What is the warranty on the Foglia?
Every Giagu Foglia is guaranteed for ten years from the date of delivery. Sharpening is free for the lifetime of the knife, at the Pattada workshop or by post.
