Corrina Fixed Blade
From the 1700s shepherd to the five-star table.

The Corrina was the first shepherd’s knife of Pattada: a fixed, myrtle-leaf blade, robust, made for the work of the countryside. Steel runs the length of the handle, mostly in horn and at times in hardwood: a solid grip and perfect balance.
The Giagu workshop has made it since 1985. The blade today is in AISI 420C, or in Damascus for the most exclusive commissions. The handle is in selected ram or mouflon horn, to guarantee strength and lightness; alternatively in Sardinian olive, juniper, through to mother-of-pearl and fossil ivory.
It is the piece that best represents the evolution of its use: from humble working tool to refined table knife. A tool that keeps its original purpose — to cut with confidence and precision — while being finished to the level of a collector’s piece.

About this piece
How is a Giagu Corrina Fixed Blade commissioned?
Every Corrina Fixed Blade begins with a conversation. You write to the Giagu workshop describing the materials, the dimensions and the occasion, and the maison guides you through the configurations available. Lead time is six to twelve months from confirmation. Every finished piece comes with a paper certificate signed by the family.
Is the Corrina Fixed Blade a numbered piece?
Every Giagu Corrina Fixed Blade is engraved with the mouflon mark and the words GIAGU PATTADA. Each order carries its own number, identifying it in the maison's internal archive from 1985 onward. The mark, for its part, stays with the piece forever.
What is the warranty on the Corrina Fixed Blade?
Every Giagu Corrina Fixed Blade is guaranteed for ten years from the date of delivery. Sharpening is free for the lifetime of the knife, at the Pattada workshop or by post.
